The tradition of bulk wine represents a dive into the past, a reminder of the deepest roots of our territory.
At Casa Benna, we firmly believe in the beauty and importance of this tradition, where entire families come together to share moments of joy by bottling wine together and thus coming to feel it “their own”.
Our bulk wine is a celebration of simplicity, craftsmanship and authenticity, values that are at the heart of our production philosophy.
Bulk wine maintains a more rustic and direct character. Its essence is influenced by the vines, the terroir and the climatic trend of the year.
At Casa Benna, we support those who want to try their hand at home bottling, providing quality wines made from grapes from our vineyards, offering an authentic and nuanced tasting experience, far from the standardization of large-scale distribution.
The experience of bottling is exciting but demanding.
For those who have never done it, we recommend getting assistance from an expert friend or relative because it is important to do it in the best way to have a good result.
Bulk wines offer an excellent quality-price ratio, compared to more rustic wines than bottled ones, this is mainly due to the natural refermentation in the bottle, which completely removes the residual sugar and therefore gives a drier taste than the Charmat – Martinotti method that characterizes our bottles
A wine born from the Emilian tradition of sparkling reds, born from the union of Barbera and Bonarda and goes perfectly with cured meats and typical first courses of our lands. It combines freshness and vivacity with a good roundness and a balanced body.
The still version of the Piacenza red wine par excellence. Barbera and Bonarda meet to create a dry, full-bodied wine, ideal for those who do not like sparkling wines, this wine best expresses the intensity of the grapes from which it comes. Ruby red with a good density and a persistent finish, it is ideal for structured dishes.
From the native Piacenza grapes of the same name, a sparkling white wine that seduces with its freshness. Citrus and floral notes and a good flavor make it very versatile, perfect as an aperitif but also throughout the meal in combination with light dishes.
The wine that takes its name from the hill in front of our magnificent village. From the union of Malvasia, Moscato, Trebbiano Romagnolo and Ortrugo this lively and aromatic wine, with an intense and fruity scent, this wine is ideal as an aperitif and for convivial moments, but also paired with tarts or biscuits.
Malvasia, which has always been cultivated in our lands, is an aromatic vine that produces wines of great value. Elegance and structure blend together in this white wine. With floral notes and white-fleshed fruit, it pairs splendidly with fish dishes and appetizers, but does not disdain first courses in white and spicy oriental cuisine.
