Description

The birth of each bottle of “Vidarò Gutturnio Classico Superiore” is an ancient art, a blend of nature and science.
It begins in the vineyards, where the grapes are hand-picked on autumn days, then delicately separated from the stalk and pressed in the cellar, where they begin their transformation process.
For nine days, they rest in fermentation, the flavors intensify under the watchful attention of our winemakers, with pumping overs that awaken the secrets hidden in each grape.
After resting in steel tanks, each barrel is carefully filtered, then bottled and entrusted to time, refining in the bottle until the right balance is achieved.
This is Vidarò: not just a wine, but a story of passion, tradition and territory.

On the western border of Emilia, where the hills stretch out like a green blanket of nature, the “Vidarò Gutturnio Classico Superiore” sinks its roots.
Here, in Castell’Arquato, the land tells ancient stories, of sea and fossils with many geological testimonies.
The vineyards stand proudly on the first hill, caressed by the breeze of the Arda valley and kissed by a sun thanks to the excellent exposure, which concentrates the grapes of Barbera and Bonarda.
It is in these lean and suited lands, where each vine produces few bunches, that Vidarò acquires its unmistakable intensity and its balanced character.
Every sip is a tribute to this extraordinary terroir, and to the history of Gutturnio that has always expressed itself with a double face.
