Cabernet Sauvignon

Prezzo:

Casa Benna’s Cabernet Sauvignon is an expression of passion and tradition, the result of the curiosity to discover how this international grape variety adapted to the lands of Castell’Arquato.
With a deep and almost impenetrable ruby red color, it offers the nose an intense balsamic aroma, enriched with notes of mint and sweet spices.
On the palate, it reveals an enveloping and rich structure, balanced by delicate and non-aggressive tannins.
This wine, which reflects the essence of Casa Benna’s ferrettized clay soils, is a tribute to the Piacenza area and the local winemaking mastery. Excellent with roast red meats, grilled meats and furred game.

Description

Casa Benna’s Cabernet Sauvignon is the fruit of a meticulously curated winemaking journey.

Traditionally, it is the last grape harvested, patiently awaited to reach perfect ripeness.

Once hand-picked, the bunches are delicately separated from the stalk and subjected to a 14-day maceration in steel tanks, where they begin to reveal their magic.

Months of rest in glass-lined concrete tanks follow, before embracing oak, maturing for over a year in small barrels.

This dance between steel, concrete and wood culminates with a further period of rest in stainless steel, before bottling.

This journey, the fruit of dedication and passion, gives life to a wine that tells a story with every sip.

Casa Benna’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a song that celebrates the lands of Castell’Arquato, in the beating heart of Emilia Romagna.

This vine, planted with curiosity to explore its synergy with the territory, grows luxuriantly in Località Casa Benna.

There, the rows, expertly trained in Guyot, draw life from lean and particularly suited soils.

Characterized by ferrettized clays, these soils give the wine a unique depth and minerality.

It is a land that tells ancient stories, where each bunch of grapes carries with it the essence of a territory rich in tradition and passion.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the epilogue of this indissoluble bond between man, vine and land.
