Luce di Selce

The Luce di Selce wine is made out of the aromatic Malvasia di candia  variety that grows on the lowest hill in Castell’Arquato.

Grapes are hand-picked in late August, crushed and pressed in a way juice and skin are well-separated.

Slow fermentation at a controlled temperature lasts 10 days, and then the must is moved into stainless-steeled tanks for 2 months. Wine is bottled in winter.

Pairings with Luce di Selce

The colour of our Luce di Selce is straw-yellow and scent of golden apple and white-flesh peach.

In the mouth is dry, with a good persistence.

Suitable for crustaceans and fish in white, but also with spicy dishes and oriental cuisine.
